With Francesco Cirelli we are in Atri, in the most truthful and rural Abruzzo, where mountains, sea, vineyards and olive trees meet, collide, mix and fascinate. An ideal habitat for the cultivation of vines that enjoy excellent temperature ranges between day and night and mild temperatures all year round.
Cirelli winery is surrounded by a sovereign silence and slowly rhythms, on 22 hectares of property divided between grapes, olives, fruit and animals. In the field they work according to organic farming rules, certified on the label, but it goes further: fertilization is natural and takes place through the grazing of animals and there is no need to use any chemical substance. In short, here you can breathe true nature, in a reality that is no longer just a winery.
For Francesco Cirelli, wine is 'an antidote to sadness, a balm for old wounds, a drink that does not make you forget, but forgive'. We like everything about this definition, we add a footnote to his beautiful words to reassure all those who already know Cirelli's wine in the bottle: the packaging in which you will drink it will not affect the quality of the product. Cirelli's bag in box hosts a white, rosé and red wine that vibrate with pleasure and gastronomy and reminds of the slow life in central Italy. The Trebbiano and Montepulciano grapes come from certified organic vines not used for the production of the 'amphora' selection; a sort of second choice made in the vineyard, but which, believe us, is not a second choice through the taste.
