Vini Aurora
To think about 'organic' even before the concept of 'organic agriculture' was invented and universally accepted for what it is today: this is the revolution signed by Aurora. Beyond thinking about it, they put organic into motion, interpret it and make it their own, combining respect for the land, defense of biodiversity and production of genuine wine. 40 years after the birth of the Aurora organic farm, these themes are more relevant than ever, and they are to be taken as a true point of reference.
The Aurora farm is located in the Marche region, precisely in Offida, in the hinterland of Ascoli Piceno, in an area highly suited to the production of quality wine, where the hills are gentle, the vineyards alternate with the scenic gullies, and life flows slowly and authentically as it once did. Aurora's production reality expands over 30 hectares, of which only 10 are dedicated to viticulture; the remaining land is divided between olive groves, arable land, fruit trees and woodland. A paradise habitat for the vine (and for man).
Aurora has always worked with bulk wine at a local level, especially in demijohns, red wine, based on Montepulciano and Sangiovese, the typical blend of the Piceno area. The Marche Rosso IGT in a bag-in-box aims to celebrate the tradition of the red wine, for every day, that the elders of the area used to come and buy directly from the cellar. We thank Francesco, representative of the new Aurora generation, who made this project a reality, which makes us think back with joy to a beautiful trip to Marche (together with Francesca from Valli Unite) that dates back to February 2024.
